 10Verificata Highly recommended ☺ La Piccionaia was exceptionally well located, right inside the historic center with easy walking access to all of the major sites. I would note with absolute accolades for the always-immediate access to Andrea, the gracious host who was always available for recommendations about everything, even niche questions ( I was looking for an artisanal panettone). The facility itself was comfortable and large, and it had a gorgeous and private rooftop terrace. BTW, it was inexpensive for sure, especially given the size of the place. ☹ This is not a complaint on my part, at all. But it is something to note for some patrons — you have to walk up four flights of stairs. It was NOT hard, and Andrea showed up when I arrived both to lead me to the kind-of “hidden” street and also to help with bags. I’m 71, so no spring chicken, and the stairs were no big deal. Again, not a complaint about the place, but there are the “sights and smells” of the old city! :-) (It’s a real working-people city, that is. Part of the charm … (really.)

 10Verificata Apparemment parfaitement bien équipé et bien placé ☺Appartement extrêmement bien placé, permettant de visiter Genes à pied et de se reposer sur la jolie terrasse. Particulièrement bien équipé : tout y est! Rien ne manque! Petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Appartement très calme, fonctionnel,  très propre. Nous avons bien dormi. L’accueil et la disponibilité d’Andrea étaient exceptionnels. Il nous a donné toutes ses adresses et beaucoup de conseils, s’est montré souple , arrangeant, disponible, de confiance. J’étais seule avec deux enfants et c’était très rassurant. Nous avons adoré Genes et l’appartement et l’accueil d’Andrea. Grand merci à lui!

 9,0Verificata Wonderful ☺ Andrea was so welcoming and made the check-in and check-out easy. It is a lovely apartment and awesome location, right in action. The kitchen was well-stocked and the roof was awesome. The apartment had everything you might need and Andrea was super helpful with recommendations and ready to assist.  10Verificata Accoglienza da 10 e lode! ☺Tutto! E’ una casa, quindi offre tutti i servizi, le comodità e gli spazi di cui un viaggiatore in compagnia ha bisogno. Andrea e’ un host eccezionale, che veramente ti accoglie nel modo migliore. Super disponibile, ci ha dato anche delle ottime dritte su dove mangiare in zona. La terrazza è un plus, offre uno scorcio meraviglioso di Genova. ☹Nulla! Va segnalato che la casa è ad un quarto piano senza ascensore e questo ovviamente può risultare scomodo per chi dovesse avere a seguito passeggini o avere limitata mobilità

 Verificata Andrea ist ein toller und sehr freundlicher Gastgeber! Er antwortet schnell auf Nachrichten und meldet sich proaktiv. Das Check-in hat er persönlich gemacht, was sehr angenehm war. Er hat uns gute Tipps für Restaurants gegeben. Die Unterkunft ist zweckmässig und gut eingerichtet, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Andrea hat den Kühlschrank fürs Frühstück gefüllt, was sehr nett und praktisch für die ersten paar Tage war, danke! Auf der ruhigen Terrasse mitten in den Dächern kann man gemütlich (je nach Jahreszeit in der Sonne) frühstücken oder einen Apéro trinken. Die Wohnung ist sehr zu empfehlen!

 Verificata Andrea est un hôte extremely accueillant et très généreux que ça soit au niveau de sa personnalité ou des avantages et services proposés au sein de son appartement. Nous avons passé un séjour à Gênes incroyable et c’est en grande partie grâce à l’appartement et à sa superbe terrasse.

 Verificata Nous avons rarement rencontré un hôte aussi accueillant, prévenant et disponible qu’Andrea et cela s’en ressent dans le soin apporté à l’appartement et dans les petites attentions laissées aux vacanciers !La Piccionaia est un cocon très agréable où il ne manque absolument rien pour passer un séjour parfait : idéalement placé pour découvrir la ville à pieds et la terrasse sur le toit, le matin comme le soir, est fabuleuse !  Verificata Our stay in Andrea’s apartment was superb! We have stayed in dozens or AirBnB’s around the world and Andrea has been the best host we have had in terms of his communication, local suggestions and the apartment being equipped with everything you could need including food supplies and drinks. Andrea goes above and beyond and we couldn’t recommend his apartment highly enough in the centre of the old town.

 Verificata Andrea ist ein grossartiger Gastgeber! Äusserst zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und gut erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist sauber und gemütlich und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Die schon vorhandenen Lebensmittel erleichtern den Beginn des Aufenthalts. Die Terrasse ist ideal, um in Ruhe zu frühstücken oder einen Aperitif zu nehmen. Alles in allem eine aussergewöhnlich gute Erfahrung!

 Verificata Nella casa di Andrea non manca veramente nulla, tutte le stanze sono pulitissime ed in perfetto ordine e corrisponde esattamente a quanto presente in descrizione. Si trova nella zona dei vicoli del porto antico, il che significa che in 10 minuti a piedi si raggiungono quasi tutti i luoghi di interesse, ivi compreso l'acquario, ma anche che è richiesto un minimo di adattamento per i 74 gradini di un palazzo storico senza ascensore. Per noi ne è valsa sicuramente la pena, ci siamo sempre sentiti in piena tranquillità, ci siamo goduti le coccole di questa specie di nido con una magnifica terrazza con vista sui tetti di Genova. Andrea è stato gentilissimo e sempre pronto a fornirci consigli utili per il nostro soggiorno, cosa di cui abbiamo usufrutio con piena soddisfazione. Consiglio sicuramente il soggiorno, è senz'altro una delle mie migliori esperienze con questo tipo di alloggio.
